In 1991, Laura made her soap debut of playing the role of Ally on ABC's LOVING, which then transitioned to THE CITY in 1995. After the show went off the air in 1997, Laura would then play the role of Cassie Layne on CBS Daytime's Guiding Light for 8 years. The character of Cassie went from being a stripper, to marrying a prince, to then being involved with her former kidnapper, Carly Jacks looks like Shirley Temple.
